A Virtual Experience System of Bamboo Weaving for Sustainable Research on Intangible Cultural Heritage Based on VR Technology

As an important national cultural treasure, intangible heritage (ICH) faces certain problems in inheritance and sustainability. With the development of digital technology, increasing research application virtual reality technology ICH have been presented. This paper proposes a experience system for Dongyang bamboo weaving, traditional form craftsmanship, to display its historical background, connotation, technical craftsmanship. The learning module is evaluated through comparative experiments by 8 subjects. From experimental data, compared with computer, average time subjects learn weaving shorter. results questionnaire indicate that arouse their interest weaving. result shows able create immersive interactive scene users understand culture skills, which may encourage sustainable from perspective diffusion provide methods other studies on craftsmanship ICH.
